Isabella and Robert’s Chic Engagement Photos at the Cleveland Museum of Art

It’s no secret that I love taking photos in the back of the Cleveland Museum of Art. From the marble steps, to the large columns, and the way it makes for the perfect lighting situation: It’s hard for me NOT to love it.

The forecast for this day was suspect. It called for rain all day with no breaks in sight. Isabella and I thought about rescheduling but since her makeup was getting professionally done and she couldn’t move the appointment – we came up with a game plan. The plan was to photograph at the museum until the rain started and then to move to a close by greenhouse to finish out the engagement photos.

As the time for our session started, the rain stopped. It was as if the universe was clearing the sky just for Isabella and Robert to have the engagement session they had imagined. As soon as our hour was up, the rain started again.

We ended up not even needing our backup plan! Some of my favorite photos from the session are below.

If you’re recently engaged, I’d love to chat with you on how we can create the engagement session you’ve been dreaming of. So let’s get in touch and get this party started.
